Seneca Hill Perennials has closed its retail mail-order operation.
We have kept our plant descriptions posted on this website for two reasons. First, many people have written to ask us to keep information available about the plants they've purchased from us. Second, over the course of the coming year we will be selling off our remaining stock (including large numbers of plants newly produced for 2010-2011), and so this website will be needed for that enterprise.
During our final year, we will only be doing business on what we think of as a micro-wholesale basis. This means that plants will be sold by the flat (not individually), will be shipped dormant, and will not be individually wrapped. We will not reserve plants for future shipping; you will have to take delivery fairly soon after ordering. You will not need to be in business to buy from us, but you will need to have appropriate facilities for overwintering if you order in fall (or if you don't, have the grace to take responsibility for whatever happens). To be added to our mailing list to receive availability notices, please e-mail us. We expect to start sending out availability notices in late August or early September.
A final note: if you have a nursery, do your own propagation, and would like stock of some of our more special plants, particularly those that we have introduced, feel free to contact us.
